Club U.N
Imagine its late 1980's (assuming many of my followers are 30 somethings) and you re in your room with your friends and siblings while your parents have a party in the front room and its a no kids allowed party. Your Uncles are guarding the door making sure no one gets out of hand especially the adults. Al Green is blaring on the house stereo and you and your friends are having a party of your own. It seems that ya'll are so grown dancing and imitating your parents. Having a funky good time! Everyone is feeling like 'THIS IS THE LIFE' ! Then you suddenly you're shocked into reality, "You are GROWN", because the base in I'M GOIN IN with Drake, ft. Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy rattles your feet.

Do you sometimes feel that Houston is Absolutely too BIG and there isnt enough quality venues or events to entertain yourself? Sure you do! I feel that way more times than not. Certainly there are plenty of places to feed your 'entertainment' Sweet Tooth but is that craving Really satisfied or is it Simply pacified? Al l to often those that crave eclectic forms of entertainment are left searching and seeking for a variety of things ranging from red carpets and music to poetry and drinks. Well I have had the pleasure of attending an event that far exceeds ANY entertainment expectation.
He(Art) and Soul is a Crazy, Sexy, Cool event that features poets such as Calvin Sharp, various visual artists and other forms of entertainment such as the Houston Urban Dance Company. After speaking with K. Dapree, the founder of such a fabulous outlet, He(Art) and Soul was created to provide alternatives to the night life scene. He(Art) and Soul allots many local talents to enter its doors and share their creations with the world. It offers substance and is driven by supporting the community. The crowd and environment at He(Art) and Soul is relaxing to say the least and offers a comfortable, cozy, posh domain to unwind and enjoy. Rain, Sleet or Shine this isnt an event you want to miss.
